Brief History:

 

An Engineer originally hailing from Naboo, Faber began working for Sienor Fleet systems right out of school.  Known for his innovative skills and leadership abilities, he quickly rose to the position of district supervisor, acting as the "floor" management for one of the many TIE manufacturing facilities.  However, his career was ruined when a shipment of "his" TIE-Interceptors suffered numerous catastrophic malfunctions in the propulsion systems, resulting in the destruction of over 100 Interceptors during a resupply of an Imperial Fleet in the Outer Rim.  To make matters worse, the Fleet was later attacked by Rebel Forces, and under equipped, was annihalated.

Under investigation, it came to light that an undiscoverd Rebel Spy had altered one of Greene's designs, resulting in the catastrophy.  Greene was cleared of any wrongdoing, but due to the political ramifications of the disaster, Sienor had no choice but to fire Faber, He was only allowed to keep his life due to his years of service, and in deference to his father, a noted Imperial Sypathizer.

Faber now freelances his skills, working for others, no matter their political affiliations.  Since his release from Sienar, Which he blames on both the Empire and the Rebels, he holds politics in little regard, and freely works for whomever he chooses.
